Q 1. Sorry for the last-minute question. In the Q&A added to beta.Sam.gov I wanted to ensure I was reading below correctly.
Q: Pg. 17 section (d) under 52.226.2 indicates FAR 2.101 – Simplified Acquisition threshold, can you confirm if this falls between what I found online between $750k and $1.5m?
A: The Simplified Acquisition Threshold for his procurement is $750K.
Is the intent to be compliant that the maximum price is under $1.5M for the 4 systems?
A. No, this reference is for the sole purpose of determining if that section of the clause applies to the procurement. For that purpose, the Simplified Acquisition Threshold is 750K. The reference in no way tells you what price you can propose.
Q 2. A quick question – the Notice ID on the webpage and the Solicitation number in the RFQ are different. It appears the 2 and 4 have been transposed. Could you please clarify which is the correct number. N6833520R0421 or N6833520R0241?
A. N6833520R0421 is correct. Please use that.
Q 3. The required delivery for CLIN 0001 shows 30 NOV 2020. Shall we assume 30 NOV 2021, or do you prefer 11 months after contract award?
A. This has been corrected in the RFP and is 30 November 2021.
Q 4. Is this a SUPPLY or SERVICES contract? We need to understand for the purposes of the Small Business set aside.
A. This is a supply contract with a PSC of 6930.
Q 6. Can you please confirm the NAICS code on the Released RFP is in alignment with that of the beta.sam.gov solicitation online of 334310 vs. 33410 in RFP? We saw both pg. 2 and pg. 22 has the incorrect NAICS code in the Released RFP.
A. The correct NAICS Code is 334310 - Audio and Video Equipment Manufacturing. Please disregard any reference to any other code.
Q 7. Would it be ok to provide a price proposal that has our suggested payment milestones to work toward unless the government has their own payment milestones? Do you know what types of payment terms the government will use for this?
A. FAR 52.232-30 Installment Payments for Commercial Items is being added to the contract. Seven monthly payments will be authorized for each CLIN. An amended RFP will be posted no later than noon on 24 February 2021 adding this.
