PRE-PROPOSAL SECOND SITE VISIT INFORMATION

A pre-proposal second site visit will be held on: Tuesday, 20 February 2018, from 12:00 to 3:00 P.M. EST.

Location: NSA Crane; Meeting place is Building 56 training room.

Base Access:

1. All attendees must submit a visitor request (Attachment F) via email to Nicholas Kocher at nicholas.kocher@navy.mil and must be received no later than 13 February 10:00am EST.

2. PAPER GATE PASS REQUEST PROCESS

All visitors that do not have a CAC badge or a DBIDS badge (enabled specifically for NSA Crane) will need to submit a SECNAV 5512 form with all fields *legibly* and *completely* filled out a minimum of 5 business days prior to their requested site visit. The forms will be utilized by the NSA Crane visitor's center to perform a background check. Attached to this document is a blank copy of the 5512 form. The background check, if passed, if valid for 180 calendar days. If it has been greater than 180 calendar days since the date of the last background check, please re-submit an up to date 5512 form to PWD Crane so NSA Crane security perform another background check. A 5512 form resubmission is not required if there is a previous one on-file in the security office within the last 180 days.

3. NSA CRANE VISISTORS CENTER / CRANE GATE ENTRY / PASS PICKUP INFORMATION

Note that visitors must have a CAC badge, NCAC badge, a DBIDS badge that is registered for access to NSA Crane, or a pre-arranged day (paper) pass to be considered for entry to NSA Crane for the site visit. Those visitors that have pre-arranged a day paper pass will need to stop at the NSA Crane visitors center to pick-up their day gate passes the day of the site visit. Visitor entry through other gates is prohibited. After the passes are received then the visitors can proceed to the Crane Gate and present the pass to the gate guards. Visitors must leave NSA Crane through the Crane Gate and must deposit the paper gate pass in the box located at the Gate when leaving the installation.

4. IDENTIFICATION REQUIRED TO PICKUP VISITORS PASSES

NSA Crane accepts valid driver's license from any REAL ID compliant state as the sole form of identification needed for base visitor access. This is a change from a previous policy which required visitors to present two forms of ID as described on the SECNAV 5512/1 form. Visitors with a REAL ID compliant driver's license no longer need a second form of ID but will still have to complete the 5512/1 form and pass the vetting requirements for unescorted access. Currently only 5 jurisdictions are not REAL ID compliant: Illinois, Missouri, Minnesota, Washington, and America Samoa. Visitors with driver's licenses from those states will have to present an additional form of identification, with the exception of visitors who have either a Washington or Minnesota Enhanced Driver's License.

Enhanced Driver's Licenses will be accepted as a sole form of identification.

5. VISITORS NEED TO BE AWARE OF THE FOLLOWING:

a.) Fill out SECNAV 5512/1 form b.) Show valid identification (per SECNAV 5512/1 form requirements) c.)
