QUESTION:

Para. 7.2 directs the contractor to provide the services of a recognized FMC Technical Representative to perform or oversee disassembly and repairs/testing and the procurement of repair parts (other than paragraph 4.0) as designated in this Work Item.

Please provide a POC for a recognized FMC Technical Representative that we may contact to get a quote to perform the requirements of this specification.

TITLE: _Galley and Scullary Renewal______________________________________

Para. 7.1.1 states Interference removals are to include but not limited to all galley/scullery equipment, sheathing. Provide protective coverings for all open areas, ventilation or equipment not affected by work..

1. Is it the intent of this paragraph to completely rip out all galley/scullery equipment including sheathing and overheads for the Galley (01-32-2-Q) and Scullery (01-33-1-Q)?

1. If all the equipment in the galley and scullery need to be completely removed, where will the contractor be able to stage and store the equipment while the spaces are being refurbished?

1) Correct, the intent of paragraph 7.1.1 is to remove all interferences to accomplished work to include but not limited to all galley/scullery equipment, sheathing.

2) Contractor is responsible for removal, means of removal and storage of temporaly removed intereferences. Due to size and quantity temporary access may be necessary to remove the equipment from ship.
