About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for solicitation N0017825Q0008, addressing electrical panel and power infrastructure modifications. The Q&A covers critical details including power requirements for various equipment such as Virtual Combat System (VCS) cabinets, power panel upgrades, and electrical load configurations for 208VAC and 440VAC systems. Key requirements include replacing an existing 100amp panel with a new 200amp 208/120V panel, removing existing shelving to accommodate new panel and conduit installation, and reconnecting an emergency power off switch to new electrical panels in Room 165.

Additional contract performance details include working outside of training command operating hours (after 3:00 PM EST), mandatory escort requirements for workers both inside and outside the work site, and the need to provide temporary work lighting during panel de-energization. The total equipment power load is calculated at 50,870 VA configured and 77,760 VA rated, with specific power requirements for equipment like APC-1, APC-2, NSG(V)3, and UYQ-122 cabinets operating at 440VAC 3P, 60Hz.
