The following have been modified:
STATEMENT OF WORK
Statement of Work (SOW) for engineering and fabrication for FULL SCALE HUB SCOOP BAR (HSB)
MACHINING, NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER, CARDEROCK DIVISION
1. BACKGROUND
This Statement of Work is for machining of full scale propulsor components to support the Naval Architecture and Engineering Department (Code 80) of the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD) and other codes at NSWCCD. NSWCCD core capabilities include Research and Development (R&D), design, and testing of submarines, surface ships, submerged vehicles, aircraft, small craft, autonomous vehicles, and other complex systems. Code 80 of NSWCCD also supports ship construction by providing manufacturing oversight of propulsor components in order to ensure that components are manufactured to specification and delivered in a timely fashion to support new ship construction In-Yard Need Dates (IYNDs).
2. SCOPE
The objective of this procurement is to manufacture Virginia Class submarine Hub Scoop Bars (HSB). The Government will require 2-3 sets (one set is eight (8) HSBs) per year with a limit of twelve (12) sets over the five year ordering period. Delivery Orders will be issued based on pricing for CLINs 0001 to 0005, and will require one to three sets per order. The delivery timelines will be specified on each order. The order for the first set will have a delivery timeline of 12 months from issue date, and the subsequent sets will have delivery timelines of 5 months from issue date. Completed HSB sets will be delivered to The Naval Foundry and Propeller Center (NFPC) in Philadelphia, PA.
