Statement of Work

MULTI-SPECTRAL TARGETING SYSTEM (MTS) FAMILY OF SYSTEMS

FIELD SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE (FSR) SUPPORT

SCOPE

This Statement of Work (SOW) documents the Government’s requirements for Field Service Representative (FSR) for Electro-Optic/Infrared (EO/IR) technology in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Inherent Resolve and missions in Africa Command (AFRICOM) and other areas of operation as they become known. Systems currently being supported are the Common Sensor Payload (CSP) and the Sky Warrior Multi-spectral Targeting Systems (MTS). The FSR will support the aircraft repairs and sustainment of sensors utilized on the US Army Gray Eagle and Sky Warrior MQ-1 Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) as well as other platforms as they become known. The Contractor shall be responsible for the quality of FSR support/performance, supervision, oversight, and control over the contractor personnel performing the services herein. Contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the Contractor who, in turn is responsible to the Government Procuring Contracting Officer.

SYSTEM DESCRIPTION

MTS is a multi-sensor day/night imaging payload. It is capable of providing imagery to increase the commanders situational awareness and capable of acquiring, ranging, identifying, and laser designating targets for precision guided munitions. There are multiple MTS configurations to include the AAS-44, AAS-52, AAS-53, AAS-54, DAS-1, DAS-2, DAS-3, DAS-4 and ZSQ-2. The various MTS configurations include both sensors and active laser including Laser-Rangefinder Designators (LRD), Eye-safe Laser Rangefinder (ELRF), Laser Target Marker (LTM), and Laser Spot Tracker (LST). The Electro-Optic (EO) sensor provides either color or monochrome imagery during daytime conditions as selected by the operator. The Infra-Red (IR) sensor provides imagery during various environmental conditions, day and night, to include some battlefield obscurants. The ELRF provides accurate target location and allows a first round fire for effect. The LTM provides a capability to quickly cue or conduct target handover to personnel equipped with Image Intensifier (I2) devices. The MTS is employed on a wide variety of manned and unmanned platforms.

PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE

The Period of Performance (PoP) shall be 12 months from date of award plus four (4) 12 month option periods.
