About this file
Document Summary
This document is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) issued by the Illinois Intergovernmental Purchasing Cooperative (IIPC) on behalf of the Illinois Department of Innovation and Technology (DoIT), in collaboration with the Interagency Information & Data Repository (IIDR) 3 consortium. The RFQ solicits qualified vendors to provide goods and/or services and establishes a cooperative purchasing agreement available to public procurement entities throughout Illinois and potentially other states participating in the consortium.
The RFQ seeks competitive bids for specific goods or services to be awarded through a cooperative contract mechanism, allowing multiple entities within the IIDR 3 consortium to access the awarded contract terms. The resulting contract will include standard commercial pricing terms negotiated during the quotation process. Participating agencies may exercise options for contract renewal or extension as permitted under the cooperative agreement framework. This cooperative purchasing approach enables participating government entities to leverage collective buying power while allowing individual agencies to place orders and manage their own expenditures under the competitively established terms. The RFQ establishes the foundation for a multi-year cooperative contract that serves as a master agreement for participating Illinois public entities and authorized consortium members.
