About this file
This is Addendum No. 5 to Invitation for Bid (IFB) No. 04A4884 issued by the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) for Modular Trailer Relocation Services. The addendum establishes a mandatory site inspection on May 9, 2016 at 10:00 AM at 295 San Bruno Avenue in San Francisco, extends the written question submittal deadline to May 12, 2016 at 3:00 PM, and pushes the final bid submission deadline to May 17, 2016 at 2:15 PM. The addendum also revises bidder qualification requirements, specifically mandating that bidders must possess a valid C-47 (General Manufactured Housing) license from the California Contractors State License Board (CSLB) at the time of bid submission and maintain it throughout the contract duration.
The addendum clarifies licensing requirements, stating that bidders must obtain, pay for and maintain all necessary licenses and permits to perform the work. Bids will be rejected if proper licensing requirements are not met, with Caltrans performing positive verification of valid licenses through the CSLB. All other terms and conditions from the original IFB remain in full force and effect.
