| Question # | Reference | Question | Answer |
General Question | Will the project require a, during work hours, a Superintendent and Site Safety Health Officer on site? If it is required, would the government approve a “dual hat” position for the Superintendent and SSHO? | SSHO is not needed. If by superintendent you mean project manager, we will need one but they don’t have to be on-site every day just readily available.
General Question | For this commercial services contract, please confirm if a bid bond will be required. | A bid bond will not be required.
General Question | Please confirm if sales tax will be exempt for the project. | Taxes will not be exempt for this project.
General Question | Will a Wage Determination be provided for this project. | Yes. Wage Determination 2015-5483 will be incorporated into the solicitation.
General Question | Will the government require escort services for the general contractor, and subcontractors, for the duration of the project? | Escort service not required.
Section L, Paragraph L.3 | In Section L, L.3 it is stated “questions will be due by seven calendar days following the site visit.” Please confirm the date, time, and location of the site visit provided. | No.
General Question | Will the government allow the contractor use of the project site utilities (restrooms, water, power/electrical)? | Yes
Section L, Paragraph L.6 | “Past Experience will only be considered if the offeror was the prime contractor.” It has come to our attention, dyanomometer experience is rare occurrence for the project site area. It would benefit the government greatly to receive the support of local trades for a more cost effective and less travel impact for this project and the specialty trades. Would the government accept Past Experience from the Prime and it’s Key Subcontractor or Teaming Partner for this proposal? | Yes. Paragraph L.6 updated to reflect prime and subcontractor experience.
