4. Objectives: Provide the Defense Information School with Audio Visual (A/V) equipment in each room and a turn-key control system with the capability to manage each of the four rooms independently or in any configuration of rooms.

5. Scope: Design and install an Audio Visual (A/V) and control system for a newly constructed Special Event/Training room at the Defense Information School.

The proposed A/V & Control system shall be designed and built around Crestron’s DM control and router system. The proposal shall include all necessary equipment, installation materials and manpower to achieve the objective. The system shall provide A/V signal routing and control all devices and peripherals connected to it. The system shall have capability to control the confer-ence/training room’s A/V and display equipment in an auditorium mode when all partitions are opened and as individual training rooms when partitions are closed. The control system does not control the powered partitions. However, it should have capability to detect the partition status to signal the operational modes of the rooms automatically. Detailed operation modes are described in the Performance Requirements section below. The contractor shall provide a design of the sys-tem prior to start of installation, which must be approved by CO/COR for build acceptance.

Contractor shall provide a Bill of Materials (BoM) for the system to identify all items required for complete installation/integration. BoM must be in line item format and include item price.

All new equipment will include a warranty and maintenance service plan. Contractor shall pro-vide a minimum of three days of operations and maintenance training on the completed system for no more than no more than eight individuals.

6. Performance Requirements: There are three primary operational modes for the subjected rooms (115 A-D):
