Drawing 115A-D__117_Model_(1).pdf shows two operator positions in control room 117, but the government's response to question 6 indicates only one operator desk . Is the requirement for one operators desk or two? If two, what devices should be available at each desk since there is only one AV production switcher?

Answer: #1. One desk.

#2

b. Is the monitor to go on an arm or mounted in the turret frame?

Answer: 15a & b. Monitor should not be larger than 17" and mounted on an arm.

Follow-up: 17" 1920x1080 or 1920x1200 monitors are very limited and very costly. Is a 19.5" 16x9 or 16x10 monitor acceptable?

Answer: #2. Yes, 19.5" 16x9 or 16x10 monitor is acceptable.

#3

Question: 16 I have another question concerning the AV service panels. It asks for "two digital audio and video inputs from camera". Please confirm that this for roving cameras in addition to the installed PTZ cameras? We need to size the switcher accordingly.

Answer: 16 Correct, the "two digital audio and one video input" is for roving cameras

Follow-up - During the site survey it was discussed that the audio inputs were to be balanced analog and not digital. Please confirm. If they are to be digital, is the requirement for balanced AES, unbalanced AES, or SPDIF?

Answer: #3. The AV service panels should have "two balanced analog audio and digital

HD-SDI video inputs from camera"

#4

"Question: 20. Do you require stereo in the rooms (the spec says hi fidelity sound)?

Answer: 20. Yes."

Page 3 of the service description: "-One (1) Sound reinforcement system configured into four (4) zones, one zone per room, with ceiling mounted speakers tuned to deliver clear voice from microphone and high fidelity sound from A/V playback devices. Speakers to resemble standard 2' x 2' dropped ceiling tiles (white)."

Follow-up - During the Site survey, we asked if stereo programming speakers were required and the response was no. Also, per the service description, each room is only to have one mono speaker zone and not stereo.

Is there a requirement for stereo program speakers per room?

Is the requirement for one or two zones of ceiling speakers per room?

Answer: #4. No stereo, one zone per room.

#5

The response to questions 2 and 28 conflict.

Question: 2. "Two (2) UHF frequency agile wireless handheld & lavaliere microphone systems (inter-changeable), to be kept in the lectern."

a. Is the requirement for one (1) wireless handheld & one (1) wireless lavaliere microphone transmitter and two receivers per room?

b. Or, two (2) wireless handheld and two (2) wireless lavaliere microphone transmitters that share two (2) receivers and only two (2) of the four (4) transmitter can be used at the same time?

Answer: 2a & b. Each of the four rooms (115A-D) needs to have 1 wireless

Handheld mic and 1 wireless Lav transmitting on the same frequency to 1 receiver. We want two of this set up in each room.

Answer: 28. No, we want a total of four handheld wireless mics and four lavalier wireless mics, one each in each of the four rooms.

Follow-up - Is the requirement for two combo sets per room (8-total) or one combo set per room (4-total)?

Answer: #5. One combo set per room (4-total).

Follow-up - Do they need access to all four PCs at once?

Or, only one at a time?

What is the location requirement to access the keyboard and mouse in room
