Contractors working at DFAS sites will safeguard classified information IAW DoDM 5200.01, Volume 3, "DoD Information Security Program: Protection of Classified Information," DFAS 5200.1-I, "Information Security Program," and other directives deemed necessary by the servicing security office. All contractor employees working at DFAS sites will receive initial, continuous and refresher security education training IAW DoDM 5200.01, Volume 3, Enclosure 5, and DFAS 5200.1-I, Enclosure 8. Contractor employees are also required to accomplish all mandatory training requirements identified in the contract Performance Work Statement.

Contractors will follow host security requirements when performing work at other federal government facilities and installations in support of this contract.

Ref 11a: Contractor performance is restricted to locations identified in Block 13. Government agency or activity will provide security classification guidance for performance of this contract. : The highest level of security clearance required for contract performance is Secret. DFAS will provide security classification guidance for performance of this contract. When work performance takes place at DFAS facilities, DFAS will oversee the handling and storage of classified information in support of this contract.
