About this file

This is an instructional guide document provided by the City of Minneapolis detailing the process for submitting bids on public events through the eSupplier procurement platform. The guide outlines the fundamental steps required for suppliers to identify, review, and submit bids on contracting opportunities posted by the City of Minneapolis. Potential bidders must access the public eSupplier home page, navigate to either the Invited Events or Public Events tabs to locate available opportunities, and review all associated bid package documents before submitting their proposals. The process requires bidders to respond to any questions included with the event posting, upload required supporting documents, and submit their bid price through the designated "Bid on Event" button on the eSupplier platform. Upon submission, bidders receive a confirmation screen and email acknowledgment of their bid submission.

The guide emphasizes the importance of thoroughly reviewing all documents associated with a contracting opportunity prior to bid submission, as event postings may require bidders to complete and attach specific forms or documentation to their applications. The eSupplier system flags required fields with red asterisks to ensure bidders provide all necessary information. The document does not specify pricing terms, set-asides, contract values, funding sources, or other financial details, as it functions solely as a procedural guide for accessing and utilizing the City of Minneapolis's eSupplier bidding system.
