- Based on appendix L, r, Installation & Leveling. This access floor system to be installed needs to be laser leveled, to do so we need a complete empty room.
Which is the opposed to what 6.5.1.3 requires.
The majority of the room is free and clear. This requirements holds, however for the localized areas where there are existing racks, the Government will accept matching the height with the surrounding new floor that is laser leveled.

These racks must be lifted at least 24” to be able to replace the raised access floor system, can this be done?
