About this file

The document is a comprehensive State of Oklahoma Vendor Security Assessment spreadsheet designed to evaluate potential suppliers' cybersecurity posture and risk management capabilities across multiple domains. The assessment is aligned with various national and international security standards including NIST, CIS, ISO/IEC, ISA, HIPAA, and COBIT 2019, covering areas such as identity management, data security, incident response, and continuous monitoring. The document provides a detailed questionnaire with sections addressing asset management, governance, risk assessment, protective technologies, detection processes, response planning, and recovery strategies.

The assessment requires vendors to provide extensive details about their organizational security practices, including their ability to protect sensitive/regulated data, manage supply chain risks, handle potential cyber threats, and maintain robust incident response and recovery plans. Each section includes specific questions with options for "Yes", "No", or "N/A" responses, requiring vendors to provide explanations for negative or non-applicable answers. The document emphasizes the State of Oklahoma's commitment to understanding and managing cybersecurity risks through a comprehensive evaluation of potential technology and service providers, with a publish date of September 22, 2023.
