4.8.2020 Amendment
Q. We completely understand the sections of code, with an air receiver that can be categorized under ‘non-corrosive service’ is one thing, the part that caused the question is the internal corrosion allowance of 1/16” per section 3.11F of the specification. If it can be categorized at noncorrosive service then why is there an internal corrosion alliance?
Please advise if the corrosion allowance can be removed?
· A.- Do not remove the corrosion allowance requirement.
