About this file

This document provides information for a Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) soliciting proposals for the Advanced Micro-Characterization of Materials (AMCOM) program. The Air Force Research Laboratory seeks proposals to perform materials characterization research using electron, X-ray, and ion-optical techniques to analyze novel materials. The objective is to conduct microstructural and compositional analyses of metals, semiconductors, ceramics, polymers, composites, functionally graded materials, nanomaterials, electronic materials, sensor materials, and biological materials. Proposers are invited to an Industry Day on May 13, 2022 to tour the Materials Characterization Facility and familiarize themselves with capabilities. Proposals are due by the date specified in the final BAA to be posted on SAM.gov.
