Question 3: Page 34 of the Solicitation, “Notes Applicable to Schedule”
Notes are identified as 1, 2, 3, 4 & 6. Should there be a note 5 or was this just a typographical error?
Answer 3: This was a typographical error. See Amendment 0001 for revision.
Question 4: Page 35 of the Solicitation, The Government states the First Article Units final acceptance is 435 days after contract award. Production units will be delivered at a rate of 5 per month starting 180 days after the effective date. What is the effective date (days after contract award) that the production units will be placed on order? And what are the effective dates after contract award for each of the five options?
Answer 4: Production Units cannot be shipped until First Article units are approved. The effective date is the date the First Article Units are approved. Firm dates for options will be established upon award of contract. Each Option (if exercised) is valid for a 12 month period.
Question 5: Page 29 of the Purchase Description Spec Para 4.2 First Article Inspection.
There are two systems being built for First Article (One LOX and One LIN). It states both carts have to go through all the testing listed in Spec Para 4.6.1 through 4.6.14.4. Please confirm.

It calls out for vibration for basic transportation per MIL-STD-810 Method 514.6, Category 1. Category 1 in Mil-Std-810 is not for basic transportation. It is for systems that only see vibration during manufacturing or maintenance. The transportation vibration is Category 4 through Category 11 depending on the vehicle. Could you clarify which vibration spec or specs are to be met?
Answer 6: The following categories are the ones in MIL-STD-810 Method 514.6 that will be tested;
