| ADDITIONAL NOTES/INSTRUCTIONS | ||||||||
| Original Proposal Submissions: | ||||||||
| <> If all the labor categories after the base year (2009) are developed using an escalation methodology then | ||||||||
| the offerors shall submit a RATE ADJUSTMENT ESCALATION MATRIX (see format above) in the cost/price proposal volume submission (July 2008). | ||||||||
| This would be the preferred estimating methodology and would sync better with the Rate Adjustment Clause. | ||||||||
| The current Aerospace Product and Parts Manufacturing Index would be recommended. | ||||||||
| <> If the offerors elect to use a different pricing methodology, provide estimating methodology and rationale in | ||||||||
| the cost/price proposaal volume. It will be necessary to provide a Rate Adjustment Escalation Matrix in Feb. 2012 if rates are going to be adjusted. | ||||||||
| Request For Rate Rate Adjustments | APPLICABLE TO 9952.902-H902 RATE ADJUSTMENT CLAUSE | |||||||
| <> The successful contractor(s) for award shall submit a RATE ADJUSTMENT ESCALATION MATRIX when an adjustment is requested by the contractor | ||||||||
| along with the "revised" Labor Category Rate Matrix | ||||||||
| <> Submit the applicable GBL Economic Forecasting Index to support Rate Adjustment Escalation Matrix values (Aerospace Product and Parts Manufacturing Index) | ||||||||
| <> Submit other information/data as requested by the PCO | ||||||||
| <> Note the PCO must approve any rate changes and determine the procedures and terms in the Rate Adjustment Clause are followed. |
