505th Command & Control Wing C2TSC Industry Day VTTC Brief
2d Lt Robert Waddell
UNCLASSIFIED//FOR OFFICIAL USE ONLY
We have recently completed the build of a Battlespace Command & Control Center-Theater (BC3-T) system that will be relocated to the 705 CTS Operating Location-Bravo (OL-B) at Nellis AFB
This system will be used to support the United States Air Force Weapons School (USAFWS) syllabus events.
This system also provides the United States Warfare Center’s (USAFWC) Virtual Test and Training Center (VTTC) with a Tactical Command and Control (TAC C2) capability for future high-end advanced training.
VTTC Background
We have a completed system build awaiting shipment to OL-B at Nellis AFB.
The system delivery date is currently TBD.
The C2TSC contractor would be expected to support the testing, integration, operation, and enhancement of the BC3-T system.
No current plan for permanent bodies at VTTC. C2TSC staff would travel TDY as required in support of BC3-T system.
VTTC Current Status
Installation of the system will require the contractor to travel to OL-B to perform system and integration testing.
The contractor is expected to support up to 6 training exercises annually, which would require engineering and operational support.
Need to maintain awareness of technical and system configuration management status for the BC3-T system.
Must have an understanding of the scenario generation systems utilized by BC3-T, and be able to assist participating units in the development of exercise scenarios.
VTTC Expected Effort
The contractor will need to stay informed of applicable standards developments pertaining to the system.
The contractor will identify discrepancies and test fixes.
Coordinate w/government to identify and document any new customer user requirements.
