MEMORANDUM FOR RECORD

FROM: PATARA MCDONALD, 30 CONS/LGCA

PROJECT: XUMU 19-1229B Repair LPS at Munitions Facilities

SUBJECT: Initial Site Walk Meeting Minutes

1. On 24 March 2015 the contracting officer, contract specialist, program manager, all primary contractors, and associated subcontractors performed a combined site walk at buildings 1544, 1545, 1546, and 1553.

2. The sign in attendance is attached.

3. The following topics/issues were briefly discussed/addressed:

All participants were escorted by SSgt Graves and SSgt Rozsa.

A contractor inquired if taking pictures was permitted, and the PM expressed photos were prohibited.

A contractor inquired about Escort responsibilities, and the PM said Security Escorts will be provided by the government and obtained through a service contract.

A contractor asked if the munitions facilities were within the Vandenberg AFB flight pattern, and the PM was unsure and said he did not believe so. The PM will follow up with an answer.

A contractor asked if the project site supervisor and the site quality control manager can be the same person, and the PM immediately stated, “No”.

A contractor asked about storing materials and the PM communicated a laydown yard could be established in the parking lot outside of the facilities.

A contractor stated, "The plans show the ground wire going underneath the concrete pavement, how we construct this?" The PM answered "saw cut the pavement, install the grounding wire, and replace the pavement". Then, the PM expressed, if there are any other added questions, to please submit an RFI and he will answer the question(s) officially as RFIs are received.

All RFIs are due COB 30 March 2015.

All RFPs are due NLT 1430/2:30 PM 10 April 2015.
