ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (EMS) TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

FOR

CONTRACTORS WORKING ON ALTUS AFB

Altus AFB has implemented an Environmental Management System (EMS) under the guidelines of ISO14001and AFI 32-7001, Environmental Management. Every contract employee that will physically work on the installation is required to review and understand the Altus AFB Contractor EMS Awareness PowerPoint presentation. The training slides and general environmental guide are accessible on the Altus AFB off-base website at www.altus.af.mil.

These slides and guide provide a general overview of the wings EMS plus provide specifics on some potential environmental impacts associated with generic contract work. The Prime Contract Manager by signing below acknowledges that all employees will be provided this training, prior to their performance of any contract work on the installation.
