QUESTION AND ANSWER FORM 2

Project Number: SXHT 16-1104

Project Description: Replace Generator Command Post, B423

Question (#1):

RFP Section F

Overall contract delivery period is stated as 30 calendar days from date of lead time to beginning of performance and 180 days from date of lead time to completion of performance. After getting information on the lead time for the generator, we are anticipating a long lead time for manufacturing (upwards of 70+ weeks). Will you be able to adjust the performance time to allow for submittal/shop drawings to begin the generator procurement and then adjust for the construction time on site?

Government Response (#1):

The performance period will begin from the date of the notice-to proceed. The contractor may submit a schedule that allows for lead time and submit a schedule based on the start and completion date as specified in the contract.
