Text version

Q. What is the anticipated carbon changeout frequency? If unknown, what was the carbon changeout frequency during the pilot test?

A. Unknown as that would be based in part on the size of the filtering system used (amount of media in the filter system).

Q. Does this project require Prevailing Wage Rates or Davis Bacon Wage Rates? If so, can you provide the wage rate schedules?

A. This project would fall under prevailing wage rates. Attached is the wage rate schedule.

Q. If a post filtering test indicated unacceptable levels of PFOA/PFOS and this resulting in additional on‐ site days (more than 36 on‐site days), would that be considered a change order to re‐filter?

A. It would not be considered a change order and not count towards the 36 days since the intent of the contract was not met and that would fall on the winner bidder.

Q. In the RFP, it states multi FRAC tanks and then a single FRAC tank. Is the bidder to assume multiple

FRAC tanks in its base bid pricing, or just a single FRAC tank? If multiple, is the bidder to assume a storage capacity large enough to continuously (24/7) contain a 50GPM flow for the duration of the project?

A. One (1) Frack tank is all the is required as a min, 18,000 gallon capacity min.
