About this file

This is a Payment Provisions exhibit for a contract opportunity issued by the Superior Court of California, County of San Bernardino for procurement over $250,000 with payment obligations spanning multiple fiscal years. The document establishes the framework for compensation, invoicing, and payment procedures for work performed under the resulting agreement from RFP 25-10 Labor Consultant. Contractors are required to submit monthly invoices beginning thirty days from the start of each term, with invoices due by the tenth day of July following the fiscal year-end period and within fifteen days after contract expiration. The Court endeavors to remit payment within thirty days of approving a correct, itemized invoice submitted to the Financial Services department, along with supporting documentation in Microsoft Excel or Word format as required by the Court Project Manager.

The Court assumes no responsibility for contractor expenses, including travel costs, unless expressly stated in the solicitation documents and executed agreement. Invoices must include the agreement number, invoice number, contractor's name and address, nature of charges, total amount, and sufficient detail for the Court to evaluate work performed. The Court may withhold payment if the contractor fails to perform according to agreement terms or if payment is disputed, with the Court providing written explanation upon request. Contractors must submit a signed Release form with the June invoice and final invoice, acknowledging that receipt of payment constitutes release of all claims against the Court related to the contract period. Court property must be returned at the contractor's expense upon submission of the final invoice unless the Court approves continued use for a contract extension or renewal.
