About this file

This is a user guide document for the eSupplier platform maintained by the City of Minneapolis, Minnesota, designed to assist bidders and suppliers in accessing and navigating the procurement system. The document provides step-by-step instructions for essential platform functions including signing into eSupplier accounts, navigating the Supplier Secure Homepage, managing bidder and supplier profiles, updating business categories, changing passwords, and signing out of the system. Users can select from five primary service and goods categories—Professional and Technical Services, Construction Services, Other Services, Goods and Supplies, and Items for Rent—to receive notifications about applicable contracting opportunities relevant to their business operations.

The guide emphasizes account management and profile maintenance as critical components of the eSupplier registration process. Users are instructed to update and maintain their business information through dedicated tiles on the homepage, with particular attention to selecting appropriate service categories to ensure they receive timely notifications about relevant opportunities. The document includes instructions for password management, including procedures for resetting forgotten passwords through the public eSupplier homepage, which triggers an email sent to the registered business email address with further instructions. No pricing, funding amounts, or specific contract award information is contained within this instructional document.
