About this file

This file is a procedural guide document from the City of Minneapolis that instructs suppliers on how to bid on public events through the eSupplier platform. The document outlines a step-by-step process for vendors to access bidding opportunities, review event details, and submit bids through the city's online procurement system. The guide directs users to navigate to the public eSupplier home page, access the Contracting Opportunities section, and review either invited events or public events based on their eligibility. Before submitting bids, suppliers are required to review all associated event documents available through the Bid Package link, as some documents may need to be downloaded, completed, and attached to the bid submission. The process includes responding to event-specific questions, uploading required files and comments, entering unit bid pricing, and submitting the bid through the platform, after which bidders receive electronic confirmation.

The document does not contain specific pricing information, contract terms, funding sources, or award timelines. It serves exclusively as an instructional resource for navigating the City of Minneapolis's eSupplier procurement portal and does not address set-asides, incumbent information, or other substantive contract details. The guide was last updated on May 6, 2024, and applies generally to all public bidding events posted by the city through this system.
