About this file

This document is an Attachment 3 Release Letter template involving the Texas Historical Commission (THC) and the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), specifically related to Antiquities Permits. The template provides instructions for proposers to complete a release letter authorizing THC to disclose information about any current defaulted Antiquities Permits to TxDOT. The letter must be submitted on the proposer's letterhead, signed by an authorized representative, and included as part of the Request for Proposal (RFP) submittal, even if the proposer has never held a Texas Antiquities Permit.

The release letter is a formal authorization allowing THC to communicate directly with TxDOT regarding the proposer's permit status, which appears to be part of a pre-qualification or evaluation process for a contract opportunity. The document does not specify the specific contract details, monetary value, or the exact nature of the services being procured, but focuses solely on the procedural requirement for permit disclosure and authorization for information release between the two state agencies.
