About this file
This document is an instruction guide issued by the City of Detroit for completing the Emergency Professional Rate Schedule related to emergency commercial demolition services at 5553 Chene in Michigan. Respondents must provide unit rates for two primary service categories: Demolition (which includes administration, supervisor, laborer, equipment, regulated and non-regulated material trucking, and disposal of asbestos-containing and construction/demolition materials) and Backfill, Grade, and Site Finalization (which includes administration, supervisor, laborer, equipment, backfill material, and topfill material). All rate submissions must include completed business and contact information, with rates entered as mean values per unit of measure for every highlighted cell on the schedule.
The City of Detroit requires that all unit rates be expressed as single averages rather than ranges, without qualifying notes or alternate unit types, and reserves the right to deem submissions incomplete or non-responsive if these requirements are not met. Respondents must provide rates for all service type categories and are subject to clarification requests from the City, which must be answered within twenty-four hours. The instructions emphasize that completion of the Professional Rate Schedule does not constitute acceptance of the submitted unit rates by the City of Detroit, maintaining the municipality's discretionary authority over rate evaluation and approval.
