About this file

This document is professional rate schedule instructions issued by the City of Detroit, Michigan for an emergency residential demolition project at 2939 Baldwin. Respondents must complete a structured Professional Rate Schedule by providing unit rates for two primary service categories: Demolition (with eight subcategories including administration, supervision, labor, equipment, regulated and non-regulated material trucking, and asbestos and construction debris disposal) and Backfill, Grade, and Site Finalization (with six subcategories including administration, supervision, labor, equipment, and material specifications). All highlighted cells on the rate schedule must be completed with specific unit rates corresponding to designated unit types, with respondents directed to consult the Scope of Services for clarification on service definitions.

The City of Detroit requires respondents to submit rates as single mean values per unit of measure rather than ranges, without qualifying notes or alternate unit types. Incomplete submissions—including those with blank fields, rate ranges, qualifying language, or non-standard unit types—may be rejected as non-responsive. The City reserves the right to request clarification on any submitted unit rate within twenty-four hours, and completion of the Professional Rate Schedule does not constitute City acceptance of the rates provided. Respondents must ensure all financial information is accurately entered into the specified format to avoid disqualification from consideration.
