Task Order 1 Human Relations in the Workplace Training BPA

The purpose of Task Order 1 is to deliver Human Relationship Training to an audience of ten senior leaders in the U.S Department of Education (Department). Participants will be selected by the Assistant Secretary for the Office of Management. The session will serve as the first session of the training and consulting services that can be provided through the underlying Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) awarded concurrently with this Task Order 0001.

The vendor will provide comprehensive human relationship training in a 3 to 5 day class format, depending on class format offered by vendor. This instructor led course will be offered at the Department of Education Headquarters, 400 Maryland Avenue, SW, Washington, DC.

This training will address how individuals see themselves, how they relate to internal and external customers and how they actively fit and participate in their organization’s goals and objectives. The course material will provide participants with an understanding of the logic of human behavior and motivations, including practical tools for navigating the human side of organizational and professional life. One key goal of the course is to improve the way that employees work together and solve problems.

The course in this Task Order will be delivered in a 3 to 5-day module, as selected by the Office of Management (OM). Shorter sessions will cover fundamentals and basic concepts of human relationship training. Longer sessions will add experiential learning opportunities and applications of the program to organizational alignment.

Vendor will provide the appropriate number of trainers needed for the size and needs of the group. Vendor’s proposal will outline the cost as a per-employee basis. The cost schedule will state any assumptions regarding the number of instructors required. Any additional customization (for example, adding additional instructors) will be subject to further negotiation before awarding the task order.
