Q1. I would like to follow up on the Replace Obsolete Wall Panels at the Hampton ARTCC project. May I obtain a copy of the pre-bid meeting sign-in sheet or plan holders list if available?
A1. The sign in sheet will be posted on the faaco.faa.gov website.
Q2. Can you extend the bid date out for this project from 9/20/2016?
A2. Bid date will be change to 09/23/2016 @ 2PM EDT.
Q3. Will the Notice to Proceed be issued after the submittals are approved and the panelboards are received by the contractor? (4-6 week lead time on panelboards after ordering).
A3. NTP will be issued after all submittal are approved and panel boards are received due to the long lead time. Contractor will be required to provide this office with a copy of the ordering documentation and a copy of the shipment received documentation.
Q4. Drawing E002 Notes “Panelboard E-B101-1 (Previous: Panel E-B102-A)” states that temporary feeder shell feed from B-B102. Can you locate panel B-B102 for me? I cannot find it.
A4. Panel B-B102 is located in the break room, right outside of B101. See attached file for the location.
Q5. Will we be allowed to run the temp feeders during normal working hours?
A5. The temporary feeder conductors and conduits can be installed during normal working hours. The final termination to the power panel has to be done at night. No energize work allowed.
Q6. Can MC cable or SO cord be used as temp power?
A6. Some MC cable or SO can be used as temp power and is subject to COR for approval on a case by case basis.
Q7. Has anyone asked for an extension on this Sources Sought? If so, when has it been extended to?
A7. See response in A2.
