Florida Department of Revenue Tampa ITN 730:0447 Questions
Question 1: When do you plan to tour?
| Answer 1: | The tour/evaluation stage for this ITN will take place between 07/22/2026 and 08/05/2026. Please note that dates are subject to change. |
| Question 2: | Can you please share more details on the ITP and your client's requirements for their Tampa office space? |
| Answer 2: | Please refer to the details throughout the ITN document for all specific space requirements for this office. Additionally, if you are seeking information regarding the layout, we have their space allocation requirements that can be found on pages 29-30 of the ITN. |
| Question 3: | Can you provide the parking requirement for this ITN? |
| Answer 3: | At this time, DOR is requesting that you provide the amount of exclusive and non-exclusive parking spaces for this office requirement. |
| Question 4: | Do you know the level of traffic and how many customers the office see on a typical day in today’s time? |
| Answer 4: | Typical customer visit range is 75 to 120 per day. |
| Question 5: | Regarding the submission process, please clarify if I can access the portal to submit as a Realtor? Alternatively, is an employee of the landlord required to submit the response? Is a POA from the owner required? |
| Answer 5: | For this ITN submission, DOR is requesting a response from the landlord, however, if the realtor or employee has power of attorney to submit on their behalf, that documentation will be required and can be found on page #99. |
| Question 6: | Is this for the Department of Revenue or the Child Support Program office? Or is it the same thing? |
| Answer 6: | The Department of Revenue (DOR) is the State agency. The Child Support Program (CSP) is one of the programs administered by DOR and is the specific program that would occupy the space. |
| Question 7: | Where can I get a copy of the due dates & ITN requirements so we can get organized and started? |
| Answer 7: | Key ITN Dates can be found on page #9. |
| Question 8: | When does a test fit get approved? |
| Answer 8: | During the estimated time period for negotiations. |
| Question 9: | Are we supposed to propose based on a test fit that hasn’t been approved and could change? |
| Answer 9: | For the ITN required documentation for submission, we are requiring a scaled floor plan showing the present layout. DOR may require the landlord to provide a test fit during the negotiation stage of the process if necessary. |
| Question 10: | Does the office follow traditional offices hours (i.e. 8:00 am – 5:00 pm) and Monday – Friday? |
| Answer 10: | Normal working hours for this office are 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 pm. |
| Question 11: | Would the Department consider bifurcating its operations between the two spaces? If the space is split, does the Department have any requirements or considerations regarding access between the spaces, security needs, etc? |
| Answer 11: | Please refer to page 18 of the ITN regarding the Reply Evaluation Criteria. The ITN submission would be scored based on the space layout. |
| Question 12: | Under the Reply Evaluation Criteria, points are awarded based on the overall contiguous nature of the proposed space. How heavily will a non-stacked, split layout be penalized under the evaluation criteria? |
| Answer 12: | Please refer to page 18 of the ITN regarding the Reply Evaluation Criteria. The ITN submission would be scored based on the space layout. |
| Question 13: | Can you share a plan of the existing facility to understand adjacencies and separation of public circulation from employee circulation? |
| Answer 13: | Please refer to page #39 for the CSP office prototype. This is an existing office space in another city, but we have this included as an example. All offices will be different, but this is a good example of the flow from the lobby/customer service area to the backend employee office area. |
| Question 14: | Please confirm which rooms the public will need access to besides the lobby/unisex restrooms and Customer Service/Receptionist workstations. The ITN states conference rooms and meeting rooms, but which rooms specifically? |
| Answer 14: | The public will only have access to the lobby/unisex restrooms and the customer service areas. If there is a need for an internal meeting, DOR personnel will allow access to the additional office space throughout. |
| Question 15: | Is it ok to separate the 88 CSP Employee workstations/Manager offices amongst 2 floors? |
| Answer 15: | Please provide a scaled floor plan showing the proposed layout in your ITN submission. Determining if this layout is acceptable will be a part of the evaluation process. |
| Question 16: | With a rough current layout, the architect thinks that we might be over the 23,574 USF requirement. We will not know exactly how much over until we have answers to the previous questions, as we will need to do accurate restroom calculations. Will being over the useable square footage requirement be an issue? |
| Answer 16: | Yes, DOR will only be able to accept submissions that are within 21,328 to 23,574 usable square feet. If the submission exceeds this range, the submission will be rejected. |
| Question 17: | Can you confirm if DOR would be amenable to a NNN lease or are they solely looking for full service gross lease as with some other government entities? |
| Answer 17: | DOR will only be accepting submissions that are based on a Full-Service, Turn-Key rental rate for this ITN. |
| Question 18: | We currently have a customer service workstation configuration that is very similar to the one outlined in the requirements. Would the existing layout be acceptable, or should we anticipate pricing for the additional 10-inch increase in elevation? |
| Answer 18: | Please provide a scaled floor plan showing present layout in your ITN submission. Determining if a current layout is acceptable will be a part of the evaluation process. |
| Question 19: | CAT 6 cabling is currently installed throughout the space, pursuant to federal government requirements. Please confirm whether this existing infrastructure would satisfy the Department's requirements. |
| Answer 19: | Please refer to pages 63 – 81 for the Telecommunications and Cabling Addendum which will provide those specific office requirements. |
| Question 20: | If the buildout is completed ahead of schedule, would an earlier occupancy date be considered? |
| Answer 20: | DOR would consider an earlier occupancy date. |
| Question 21: | We understand that the landlord is responsible for providing the security camera wiring infrastructure. Could you please clarify who is responsible for purchasing the cameras and head-end equipment? |
| Answer 21: | As stated on page #32, Section H, DOR will require the landlord to provide for security wiring from the lobby to the LAN Room. The final number and locations are to be determined during space planning, and DOR will provide the cameras. |
| Question 22: | Would it be possible to arrange a site visit prior to submission so that the space can be reviewed and potential substitutions or existing conditions can be evaluated for acceptance? |
| Answer 22: | A site visit prior to the Deadline for Receipt of Replies is not allowed during this formal process. The tour will be conducted between 07/22/2026 and 08/05/2026 with the locations who have successfully submitted an ITN for this requirement. |
