Contract Extension/Price Adjustment Amendment Summary
This document is a Contract Extension/Price Adjustment Amendment Determination issued by the Arizona Game and Fish Department (AZGFD) Purchasing Office. The contract involves the State of Arizona and SWCA INC, a private contractor headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona. The procurement contact for AZGFD is Diana Koistinen, and the contractor's primary contact is Meggan Dugan.
The contract extends archaeological services provision for AZGFD under Solicitation BPM005438 for an additional twelve (12) months, with the new expiration date of November 29, 2026. Concurrent with this extension, a price adjustment of 13.8% above the original bid has been approved and is effective November 29, 2025. The revised rates cover ten position categories ranging from Principal Investigator and Project Manager/Director at $169 per unit (increased from $145), to Administrator at $104 per unit (increased from $100). Other adjusted positions include Field Director, Crew Lead, Field/Lab Technician, Permit Coordinator/Lab Manager, Senior and Mid-Level GIS Technicians, and Technical Editor. The price increase was determined to be fair and reasonable based on current market conditions and supporting documentation, and the contract extension was deemed more advantageous to the state than pursuing a new competitive procurement.
