About this file
This document is Amendment No. 4 to AHCA Contract No. EXD096, executed between the State of Florida, Agency for Health Care Administration (the Agency) and Gray Robinson, P.A. (the Vendor) in April 2020. The amendment modifies a previously established contract for legal services, with Gray Robinson, P.A. serving as a private attorney service provider for the Agency.
The amendment increases the total contract amount from $1,550,000.00 to $1,950,000.00, representing a $400,000.00 increase for legal services and costs. The fee structure sets a maximum compensation of $1,800,000.00 for billable services, with the vendor required to notify the Agency when fees reach $1,500,000.00. Reimbursable costs are capped at $150,000.00, with notification required when costs reach $100,000.00. The contract is defined as a fixed price (unit cost)/cost reimbursement contract, with specific guidelines for expense reimbursement, including restrictions on routine overhead expenses and requirements for prior authorization for certain non-routine expenses.
