TASK WORK ORDER NO. 3

DISTRICTWIDE CAPACITY PROJECT EXECUTIVE SUMMARIES

I. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District Three (Department) has requested that Metric Engineering, Inc. (Consultant) produce executive summaries for all capacity improvement corridor projects (ongoing, funded, or programmed) on state facilities within District Three.

II. SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED

The Consultant will produce executive summaries of all capacity improvement projects on state facilities, as well as special projects as needed in District Three. For all corridors for which capacity improvements are being planned, designed, or constructed, the executive summaries will include, but are not limited to:

The name and county of the subject corridor.

The limits of each project involving the subject corridor.

A map of the corridor, including pertinent limits of any individual projects within the overall corridor.

A tabular summary of any capacity improvement projects that are ongoing or programmed for the subject corridor, to include:

FPID numbers Phases Estimated costs Proposed timeframe

A concise description of the capacity improvements being considered

A summary template developed by the Department will be utilized for data input. As this template is being used, possible improvements may be identified and suggested to the FDOT Project Manager. It is assumed the submittal format should allow for Department staff the ability to edit. The Consultant will obtain information required for this summary from the FDOT Five-Year Work Program, as available. As necessary, the District will provide any historical project information for any projects that are no longer included in the current Work Program or provide access to that information.

Roadways with capacity improvements are the priority under this task. New roadways such as the SR 87 Connector, West Bay Parkway, Quincy Bypass, and Gulf Coast Parkway may also be included in this list.

Due to the size of the district and length of the state roadways, some may be separated into multiple Executive Summaries. This list may change per the needs of the planning staff and changes in Work Program.

Per the request of the District, those facilities that are part of FDOT’s Strategic Intermodal System (SIS) will also be prioritized, followed by the remaining state facilities within the District.
