About this file

This document is an Amendment (Amendment No. 4) to a Standard Professional Services Agreement between the State of Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) and Greenman Pedersen, Inc., located in District Four, Broward County. The original agreement was executed on 2/26/2021 with the Financial Project Number 446185-1-32-01, focusing on the resurfacing of State Road 5/US-1 from Northeast 17th Way to Northeast 33rd Court.

The amendment extends the contract services time through 5/31/2026 and increases the total maximum limiting amount by $54,886.58, bringing the total contract value to $1,101,045.76. The additional funds are specifically for design services to develop Concept Plans for signalizing the intersection of SR-5/US-1 and Trader Joe's driveway opening. The consultant will evaluate two signalization options: one with mast arms and another with a diagonal mast arm in the northeast corner and a signal pedestal in the median for southbound left turn movement. The project aims to enhance the overall safety and operations of the intersection, with utility coordination and traffic operations analysis included in the scope of services.
