About this file

Amendment No. 7 to Contract No. SW238 is an executed modification to the existing contract between the Florida Department of Environmental Protection and Industrial Divers Corp. Inc., located at 2901 SW 3rd Avenue #5, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33315. The original contract was established on February 17, 2017, to provide submerged waste tire retrieval and disposal services in support of the Department's Osborne Reef Restoration Project.

The amendment modifies the compensation structure to establish a maximum contract value of $6,338,568.80, representing an increase of $1,500,000.00 from the previous amount. Under the revised terms, Industrial Divers Corp. Inc. will be compensated on a combination fee schedule and fixed price basis for services specified in the Scope of Work, with work performed on a fee-schedule basis at rates outlined in Attachment D. The Rate Schedule specifies pricing for sensitive areas (Option 2) across an initial three-year period and three renewal years. Initial pricing includes tire retrieval at $17.80 per tire with $40,000.00 mobilization costs. Renewal year pricing increases incrementally: Year One at $18.02 per tire with $10,000.00 mobilization; Year Two at $18.38 per tire with $10,000.00 mobilization; and Year Three at $18.75 per tire with $10,000.00 mobilization. Mobilization costs are defined as preparatory work and operations necessary for project site mobilization, including personnel movement, equipment transport, temporary facility establishment, and compliance with applicable Department and local requirements. The amendment was executed on August 13, 2020, by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection.
