Contract Summary
This is Amendment No. 6 to Contract No. SW238 between the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (Department) and Industrial Divers Corporation (Contractor), located at 2901 SW 3rd Avenue, #5, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33315. The amendment was executed on March 30, 2020 by Industrial Divers Corporation and on April 10, 2020 by the Department, with Justin Wolfe, Acting Chief of Staff, as the signatory for the state agency. The contract was originally established to provide submerged waste tire retrieval and disposal services in support of the Department's Osborne Reef Restoration Project, effective February 17, 2017.
The amendment revises the compensation structure under Paragraph 5A to establish a maximum contract value of $4,838,568.80, with an additional increase of $510,000.00 for scope completion. For work performed under a fee-schedule basis, the Contractor will be compensated at rates specified in Attachment D. The rate schedule includes three-year initial pricing for sensitive areas with a retrieval cost of $17.80 per tire and mobilization cost of $40,000.00, followed by three one-year renewal periods with incrementally increasing per-tire rates ($18.02, $18.38, and $18.75 respectively) and consistent annual mobilization costs of $10,000.00. All pricing encompasses personnel, labor, equipment, materials, travel, incidental expenses, insurance, fuel, and MyFloridaMarketPlace transaction fees, excluding only mobilization costs as separately defined.
