About this file

This is Amendment No. 3 to Contract No. PL278, a contract amendment between the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (the Department) and Professional Service Industries, Inc., a Tampa, Florida-based contractor. The original contract was effective June 9, 2013, and this amendment was executed in March 2023.

The amendment extends the contract for an additional six-month period beginning June 9, 2023, and remaining in effect until December 8, 2023, with the Department and Contractor continuing to perform their respective duties under the same terms and conditions as the original agreement. The contract is for environmental site assessments. The amendment incorporates updated compliance requirements, including mandatory use of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's E-Verify system to verify employment eligibility for all employees and subcontractors, and adds a certification requirement that the Contractor and its subcontractors are not on the Scrutinized Companies that Boycott Israel List, with provisions allowing the Department to immediately terminate the contract if false certifications are submitted or if the Contractor becomes listed as boycotting Israel during the contract term.
