Document Summary

This is Amendment No. 1 to DEP Contract No. HW551, an indefinite delivery contract between the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) and AECOM Technical Services, Inc., effective December 29, 2010. The contract is managed by FDEP Contract Manager Teresa Booeshaghi. The amendment includes a Notice of Transaction Fee Exemption filed on April 13, 2011, and a Separation of Duties Notice dated April 13, 2011, both prepared by FDEP Contracts Office Representative Debbie Bates.

Amendment No. 1 reduces the funding increment of the contract from $397,000.00 to $260,500.00, representing a decrease of $136,500.00. The amendment adds a new requirement obligating AECOM to enroll and participate in the federal E-Verify Program for Employment Verification within thirty days of the amendment's effective date and to require all subcontractors to enroll within ninety days. The contractor must maintain records of E-Verify participation and compliance and make such records available to the Department upon request. Compliance with the E-Verify provision is designated as an express condition of the contract, with non-compliance treated as a material breach. The transaction fee exemption is granted under categorical exemption provisions of Florida Statutes Section 287.055.
