About this file
This is Amendment No. 8 to Contract No. HW551, a six-month extension agreement executed between the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) and AECOM Technical Services, Inc. The extension period runs from June 29, 2021, through December 28, 2021, continuing the waste cleanup program services that originated under the initial contract dated December 29, 2010. AECOM Technical Services, Inc. is headquartered at 3750 Northwest 8th Avenue, Suite 300, Miami, Florida 33178.
The amendment maintains all existing terms and conditions of the original contract for the extended period. Contract administration is centralized under Billy Hessman (DEP General Contract Coordinator, 850-245-8972) and Mark Rasberry (Contractor General Contract Coordinator, 407-513-8241). Four service areas are managed by designated contract managers: Waste Site Cleanup (DEP Manager: Ben Grubbs), Site Investigation (DEP Manager: Brandie Stringer), Brownfields (DEP Manager: Kelly Crain), and CERCLA Site Screening (DEP Manager: Kelly Crain), with Mark Rasberry serving as the contractor's manager across all sections. The amendment also updates employment eligibility verification requirements, mandating AECOM's use of the E-Verify system for all employees and requiring subcontractors to provide affidavits confirming they do not employ unauthorized aliens, with authority granted to terminate subcontracts upon good faith findings of statutory violations.
