About this file
Document Summary
This is Amendment No. 12 to Agency Term Contract No. GC837, a rate increase amendment executed between the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) and American Environmental Engineering of Florida, Inc. The amendment modifies the contractor's rate schedule for petroleum contamination site response action services in the South Region. The contract was originally executed on February 28, 2014, and this amendment was signed on May 9, 2024, by Robert Brown, President of the contractor, and Jessica Kramer, Deputy Secretary of FDEP.
The amendment increases rates for 416 pay items across the contract's rate schedule, effective for all new work assignments offered on or after the Rate Change Date of June 10, 2024. Rate increases range from approximately 3.90% to 5.00%, all within the maximum 5% increase permitted under contract provision 11.B.ii. The contractor submitted detailed justification for the increases, which the Department reviewed and approved. Services covered under the modified rates include mobilization and equipment rental, drilling and boring operations, well installation and abandonment, sampling and analysis (soil, water, and air), remedial system installation and operation, engineering and professional oversight, and documentation and reporting services. All pre-Rate Change Date work assignments continue to apply the prior rate schedule (Version 3.3), while new assignments utilize the updated schedule (Version 3.4). The amendment does not modify any line items, scope of work, or other contract terms and conditions.
