About this file
This is Amendment No. 17 to Agency Term Contract No. GC801 for the Petroleum Restoration Program between the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (Department) and ECOTECH Environmental Services, Inc. (Contractor). The contract was originally executed on February 24, 2014, and this amendment extends the contract term by an additional six-month period beginning July 14, 2024, and continuing through February 14, 2025.
The contract provides petroleum contamination site response action services. This amendment modifies the contract's term extension provisions to clarify that no new Purchase Orders or Task Assignments may be issued after the contract term expires; however, any Purchase Orders or Task Assignments issued during the renewal or extended term period will continue in effect for up to twelve months following the extended term to allow for completion of work. The amendment also includes a force labor attestation clause requiring the Contractor to certify that commodities and services offered to the Department have not been produced using forced labor, with termination provisions applicable if this certification is violated. All other terms and conditions of the original contract remain in effect, with any inconsistencies between the contract and this amendment resolved in favor of the amendment's provisions.
