About this file
Summary
This is Amendment No. 13 to the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) Agency Term Contract No. GC790, executed between FDEP and AHS-GEAR LLC. The contract, originally executed on April 9, 2014, establishes an indefinite delivery vehicle for petroleum contamination site response action services in the North Region of Florida. The amendment was executed on May 13, 2024, by James D. Hirsch, President of AHS-GEAR LLC, and Jessica Kramer, Deputy Secretary of FDEP.
This amendment implements rate increases across 388 pay items in the contractor's rate schedule, with increases approved under contract provision 11.B and capped at the maximum allowable increase of 5 percent. The rate changes became effective June 10, 2024, for all new work assignments offered on or after the Rate Change Date, while pre-existing and previously offered work assignments continue under the prior rate schedule. The increases apply to mobilization fees, drilling and boring services, sampling and testing activities, well installation and management, environmental analysis and laboratory testing, excavation and removal services, remedial action systems, and professional services including engineering review and reporting. All other terms and conditions of the original contract remain in effect, with Amendment No. 13 superseding any conflicting provisions between the amendment and the base contract.
