COASTAL TECH will :
o at least 3 calendar days prior to each Working Group Meeting:
s u b m i t work products for consideration by the Working Group, and identify and prepare a written summary of “Decision Points” that warrant conclusion prior to completion of tasks – with alternatives and a recommended alternative; submit the summary to the FBCP Coordinator;
o within one week after Working Group Meetings, prepare minutes of Working Group Meetings.
To conclude the key issues as identified by COASTAL TECH, the FBHCP Coordinator will confer with the appropriate entities (FDEP, FWC or USF&WS) to identify a resolution .
FWC and FDEP staff will make changes to COASTAL TECH Deliverables as warranted to incorporate Working Group and Steering Committee review and comments.
Task 1 – FBHCP Chapters ($92,237.70):
Chapter 8 – Assessment of Anticipated Take COASTAL TECH will update the Interactive Species Impact Assessment System (ISIAS) to identify direct vs. indirect impacts associated with projected coastal armoring projects; the update will include assumptions surrounding the shore-normal locations of the projected armoring, shore-normal footprints of sloped structures, and the associated take landward (direct impacts) and seaward (indirect impacts) of the projected armoring. COASTAL TECH will update the methods for projecting take over the 25-year term of the ITP, including the armoring take methodology and direct vs.
indirect impacts methodology (from the Year 8/Phase II Scope of Work). COASTAL TECH will update the entire Chapter 8 draft and submit it to the FBHCP Coordinator .
Chapter 11 - Mitigation Measures COASTAL TECH will update the draft of Chapter 11 based in part on the information generated under Tasks 2, 3, and 4 below. Through May 1, 2018, COASTAL TECH will confer with potential parties to partner in implementation of mitigation projects to develop the list of proposed mitigation projects to be included in the FBHCP. COASTAL TECH will submit the draft chapter to the HCP Coordinator for review.
Chapter 15- Compliance Monitoring and Reporting COASTAL TECH will draft Chapter 15 to describe the biological and regulatory compliance monitoring and reporting to be implemented under the FBHCP. COASTAL TECH will submit the draft chapter to the FBHCP coordinator .
