About this file
This is a Task Assignment Change Order Form (Change Order No. 1) for DEP Contract No. BS029 between the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) and Coastal Technology Corporation (COASTAL TECH). The change order extends an existing task related to the Regional Offshore Sand Source Inventory (ROSSI) project, which is managed under a cooperative agreement with the Bureau of Ocean and Energy Management (BOEM). The contractor's project manager is Michael Walther, P.E., and FDEP's contract manager is Genita Alexander.
The change order extends Task Assignment 15 for six months due to unforeseen circumstances resulting from Hurricane Irma. The scope of work encompasses three primary tasks: data upload of geophysical and sample data to ROSSI; hosting and maintenance of the ROSSI website and infrastructure for 19 months (November 2016 through May 2018) at $300 per month; and characterization and classification of approximately 80 borrow areas off Florida's coast. Task 1 (Data Upload) costs $4,419.65 with a deliverable date of May 30, 2018. Task 2 (Hosting and Maintenance) costs $22,026.60 with monthly deliverables through May 30, 2018. Task 3 (Borrow Area Characterization) costs $27,430.22 with a January 31, 2018 deliverable date. The net increase in task amount is $6,955.77, bringing the total task amount with all change orders to $53,876.47. Funding is sourced from three grants under Org. Code 3735-5050-000 within FDEP's Division of Water Resource Management.
