About this file

This file is a CORI Compliance Certification form (CM-15A) published in May 2025 by the City of Boston, applicable to vendors seeking contracts with the City of Boston for the Multilingual Learner (ML) Compliance Data Platform through Boston Public Schools. The certification requires all vendors to affirm that their criminal background screening policies comply with City of Boston Code, Chapter 4, Section 7. Vendors must select one of three options: certify that they perform no CORI checks on applicants, certify that their CORI policy conforms to standards set forth in Form CM-15B, or disclose that their policy does not conform to the CM-15B standards. The form requires the signature of an authorized representative and must be submitted as part of the vendor's quotation, bid, or proposal.

Vendors who select Option 3, indicating non-conformance with CM-15B standards, will be prohibited from entering into contracts with the City of Boston unless an explicit waiver is granted by the awarding authority. Any waiver request requires submission of a completed Form CM-15C and may only be granted on a contract-by-contract basis under exigent circumstances. The certification is made under penalties of perjury, and the form has been approved as to form by Corporation Counsel as of April 2025.
