About this file
This Clarification Amendments document pertains to the Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR), State Lands Division (SLD), and addresses modifications to the Splinter Hill Fisheries Wildlife Tract Herbicide Spray project for Fiscal Year 2026. The amendment clarifies project specifications, scope requirements, and herbicide application procedures for vegetation management on the identified tract. The document provides revised technical details and requirements for bidders responding to the original solicitation, including updated application methods, timing specifications, and environmental compliance standards that vendors must incorporate into their proposals and pricing.
The clarification amendments establish modified terms for herbicide treatment specifications, including approved chemical products, application rates, and environmental protections required during implementation. These amendments supersede or modify specific provisions in the original bid documents and must be acknowledged by all prospective bidders as a condition of bid submission. Contractors must address the clarified requirements in their technical proposals and corresponding cost estimates to ensure compliance with the State of Alabama's updated project objectives for vegetation management on the wildlife tract.
