1.1 WAXIE Sanitary Supply, one of the over 120 affiliates under the BradyPLUS family of companies, was founded in 1945 and has carried a proud history of honoring our customers, communities, and family values. This attitude is embodied in our company motto: The Most Trusted Name in Clean Since 1945. WAXIE has long been focused on our customers and prides ourselves on helping businesses and public sector clients keep their facilities cleaner, healthier, greener, and safer. We are passionate about what we do and are committed to delivering that passion to our clients.

BradyPLUS, established in 2024, is the nation’s premier specialty distribution company supplying our clients with a diverse selection of essential products including facility care, food service disposables, packaging, and marketing execution. With 130 distribution centers across the U.S., 3000+ associates, and 8.5+ million square feet of warehouse space to service our clients. With the combined power of BradyPLUS affiliates our combined sales exceed $5.5B. With a collective business history ranging from 20 years to over 130 years, BradyPLUS and WAXIE bring a wealth of experience as long-time distributors to public sector clients. Our key deliverables to our public sector clients are contract compliance, competitive pricing, best-in-class customer service and robust product selection. We pride ourselves on our ability to offer onsite solutions and services to help public sector clients solve the most difficult cleaning and facility care problems through our expert and seasoned Account Consultants.

Our Approach:

At WAXIE, we work hard to help our customers and their teams solve the most demanding industry challenges with the most effective products and solutions. Here’s how we do it:

· RELIABILITY - Your success depends on an efficient supply chain. We deliver consistent quality, ensure product availability, and add value, even as markets shift.

While WAXIE does not manufacturer any products we do have a quality management program in place to ensure the products that clients receive are free of damage, accurate to the description and of expected quality. Most of the products WAXIE would make available on this contract, are available and stocked in one of 6 distribution centers within the State or in the distribution hubs on the West Coast.

Below is a brief overview of some of our quality control processes:

Supplier Evaluation: thorough evaluation of potential suppliers to assess their reliability, reputation, and adherence to quality standards. This includes assessing production capabilities, quality management systems, certifications, and track record.
Incoming Inspection – when products are received from suppliers, an incoming inspection is conducted from a visual standpoint to ensure products are free of visible defects, verify packaging integrity, and conduct random sampling for further testing, when needed.
Product Testing – to validate quality and compliance with standards.

Inventory Management – to ensure proper product rotation, minimizing the risk of expired or outdated products entering the market.

All shipments contain a complete packing slip for signature that includes all products, quantities shipped, back orders, with pricing optional at the customer’s discretion. SDS sheets are automatically shipped with every new product ordered or at the customer’s discretion with every order shipped. Our supplier and product selection practice combined with our operational and logistical excellence ensure quality and consistency.

WAXIE has robust reporting available to clients on our logistics and fulfillment. With our current contract with the State, WAXIE’s average fill rate has exceeded 92%. WAXIE is committed to continuing to find opportunities to strengthen our inventory position whether it’s looking at new vendors, increasing our inventory on hand or sourcing from one of our other locations. We remain steadfast in ensuring the State’s agencies and political sub divisions have the products available to them when they need it.

Warranty: WAXIE’s supplier and product selection practice combined with our operational and logistical excellence ensure uniform quality and consistency in product performance and customer service. WAXIE is a distributor of products and does not manufacture any of the products that we sell, however, all products are backed by a manufacturer’s warranty. If a customer is dissatisfied with the performance of any product or service, they can call their local affiliates customer service line to determine the appropriate route for manufacturers’ warranty. Use all products as directed, wear personal protection equipment where appropriate, and read and understand all precautionary statements.

· SIMPLICITY - We deliver a full range of tailored business solutions that make it easy to achieve your goals and meet your unique business needs. Whatever they may be.

Clear Communication Channels- State Agencies have a dedicated Account Consultant that can help them find the right solutions for their site. WAXIE has a dedicated team of Team Service Managers and Customer Service Representatives that are on site in the Phoenix area that are available during normal business hours to answer any questions regarding order status, item availability, invoice inquiries and any other tasks related to the ordering, shipping and billing process. Additionally, DOA will have a dedicated resource from a contract management perspective that will be the single point of contact to both State Agencies and DOA should any questions about the contract arise and to hold quarterly reviews with both DOA and Department heads.

Customization- We are currently fully integrated with the State from a punchout perspective for State Agencies. WAXIE prioritizes Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and cXML integration methods as they offer seamless integration with most available systems. Through these integration methods, WAXIE facilitates order-to-invoice integration, ensuring smooth and efficient transaction processes for our clients.

Efficiency and Effectiveness- Time is of the essence in our industry, and we prioritize efficiency in everything we do. Our product and training solutions are designed to deliver results in a timely manner without comprising the quality. We aim to streamline the cleaning processes so staff can do more with the limited human capital they have.

Scalability- WAXIE’s business operations from our website, supply chain, logistics and human capital are positioned to support the anticipated volume of this contract. As a long-time holder of a state contract and currently handling over $4M of the state business specific to Janitorial spend, WAXIE’s warehouses are stocked not only with the products most commonly purchased by the State Agencies but also to the volume needed to satisfy the state’s requirements. WAXIE is also specialized in the janitorial space and with this comes a large stocking position for all products in this category, due to our buying power and relationship with manufacturers we are able to stock quickly and have several options available for each individual agency need. An example of this was our ability to provide the state necessary goods during the peak of COVID-19. The products we carried were crucial to the continued business and health of the state and WAXIE ensured that we prioritized state orders and had products readily available when shortages in the market were common.

· EXPERTISE - We’re a team of industry experts focused on providing real insights and recommendations to help take your business to the next level.

WAXIE has been an industry leader in providing solutions to our clients that are cleaner, safer and more sustainable. Today, WAXIE has 18 Sales Consultants calling on state agencies. Each of these Sales Consultants are focused specifically on Janitorial products and has helped state agencies build a unique product assortment based on their consultative nature through site surveys, regular reviews with departments, demonstrations, and product expertise.

WAXIE provides the most comprehensive training opportunities in the industry. We recognize the value and critical importance of training in protecting the health and safety of employees and building or facility occupants. We don’t just deliver the box; we understand its contents and train our clients on how to use them most efficiently.

We are pleased to offer a comprehensive staff training program that has been refined to include on-site training for State Agencies & Political Subdivisions. Our approach ensures State Agencies & Political Subdivisions receive hands-on instruction tailored to their specific needs and environment. With our on-site training, we empower them with the knowledge and skills necessary to maximize the effectiveness of our products and solutions. WAXIE use a proven system of Tell, Show, Do, and Review to assist our clients and their staff in learning new habits effectively. Through our extensive in-service training, we equip our members' employees with the necessary knowledge and techniques to efficiently utilize the products and equipment they have purchased. Our training sessions are fully customizable to meet the State’s specific needs, and we offer them in Spanish to ensure inclusivity and accessibility.

We understand the importance of minimizing disruptions to productivity, which is why our training sessions can be scheduled at any time convenient to the State’s agencies or political subdivisions. By leveraging our training programs, they can be confident that their team will be well-prepared to implement best practices and achieve optimal results in their day-to-day operations.

· SERVICE - We’re always ready to roll up our sleeves and help you get the job done. We’re not just a catalog or online resource—we’re a hands-on extension of your team, and we take pride in helping YOU succeed.

In contrast to the prevailing trend in the JanSan industry, where many companies are shifting towards internet-based customer relationships and reducing field sales efforts, we are making investments in both field sales and electronic communication channels to enhance the client experience. Our commitment to providing exceptional service is reflected in our approach of pairing Account Consultants with inside Customer Service Representatives, ensuring that every client receives dedicated support both on-site and via phone.

We believe that this personalized approach sets us apart in the industry, as it allows us to offer the in-person, live phone assistance and electronic communication that many of our customers desire and require. While the industry may be trending towards automated customer service and online self-service solutions, we remain steadfast in our belief that these valuable, face-to-face resources play a crucial role in meeting our clients’ needs efficiently and effectively.

WAXIE with our industry leading Account Consultant team can custom tailor product solutions that help agencies find the right jobs to get the job done efficiently, safely and at a competitive price. The primary focus of our Account Consultants is to walk the client’s site with the client’s team to identify cleaning issues, train staff on proper cleaning and sanitation procedure and coordinate installations. All of these services are currently offered and will continue to be offered as part of our partnership with the State and its’ agencies. Account Consultants are available beyond the normal business hours of the day and can be contacted during off hours. To ensure adequate representation in the event of unexpected absence, sales management and operations management personnel fill in as needed. Sales management and operations management personnel are cross trained in all customer service functions and are able to respond to any customer service inquiry.

WAXIE has a dedicated team of Team Service Managers and Customer Service Representatives in our local facilities to help agencies with any of their needs. These individuals are stationed in front of our ERP system to facilitate order placement, offer pricing information on items, oversee implementation, track deliveries, and follow up on orders. Additionally, they continuously refine delivery processes to enhance our service quality. These dedicated representatives will have a comprehensive knowledge of accounts and the contract and will serve as a crucial service provider to the agencies. Our hours of operation for Customer Service are 8AM – 5PM local time Monday to Friday, excluding holidays.

WAXIE will also offer dedicated resources from our National Accounts Team. WAXIE will have two people to manage and oversee the contract at a regional level. The contract will be overseen by a Corporate Account Director that will ensure contract compliance, initiate quarterly business reviews and act as a single point of contact for the State from a contract administration perspective. Additionally, a team of National Account Specialists that have supported the contract requirements and will continue to support any anticipated growth to this category through the new contract. They are responsible for ensuring only contracted items are visible and are shown the correct prices. They are also responsible for new account set up and creation of new shipping locations. Another aspect of the contract is the administrative fee on the cooperative business. The National Account Specialist has continuously paid the administrative fee to the state on time and accurately. This would continue to be the case through an award of this contract.
